My Approach to Therapy
Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or major life changes? Has your past been weighing you down, affecting your daily life and relationships? Do you struggle to step outside your comfort zone and find confidence in your abilities?
Taking the step to seek support is a powerful choice, and I commend you for prioritizing your mental well-being. My focus is on mental wellness rather than illness—I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth, resilience, and positive change.
Life's challenges can make us lose sight of our strengths and potential. But with the right support, healing and growth are possible. If you're ready to begin your journey toward self-discovery and emotional well-being, I'm here to support you every step of the way.
In my approach to therapy, I believe every client is unique and thus requires a tailored plan to address symptoms and concerns. Though at times I may be considered eclectic in my treatment, I tend to operate mostly from Cognitive-Behavioral, Narrative, Psychodynamic, and Polyvagal Therapy approaches.
“My goal is to help you reconnect with your inner strengths and develop the tools you need to navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience.”

What you can expect from our therapeutic relationship
My Client Focus
I have experience working with clients ranging from children to older adults. Most clients I have treated struggled with anxiety, depression, trauma, identity issues, panic attacks, and attachment injuries.
My Communication Style
As a clinician, I feel it is important to foster a non-judgmental and empathetic atmosphere for clients to truly open themselves up to the therapeutic process. I think it is important to challenge clients, when necessary, and when it's safe to do so, in order to cultivate personal growth.
How I Help Clients Reach Goals
When working with clients, I place a high value on collaboration and empowerment in the goal-making process. I encourage clients to identify goals for therapy in their own words and try to act as a sounding board for them to clarify and specify what changes they want to work towards.
My Journey to Becoming a Provider
Since high school, I have set my heart on becoming a therapist. My own therapy journey started at a young age, and it helped shape me into the individual I am today. Without the acceptance, guidance, and non-judgment that my therapist provided me, my life may have taken a different direction.
